Show #9 - March 26, 2012

On this week's show I started out with thanks and gratefulness for nature and the recent rains that have showered Marin County with a much needed drink of water.

Here is the Irish Blessing that went along with my note of gratefulness:

May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow;
May the soft winds freshen your spirit;
May the sunshine brighten your heart;
May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you;
And may God enfold you in the mantle of His love.
                                        From the book, Irish Blessings

This week's Angel Card Message: Forgiveness

On the flip side of forgiveness is the making of mistakes. Here are some quotes on mistakes:

"Do not take yourself too seriously. You have to learn not to be dismayed at making mistakes. No human being can avoid failures." Lawrence G. Lovasik

"If you have the guts to keep making mistakes, your wisdom and intelligence leap forward with huge momentum." Holly Near

"Even the knowledge of my own fallibility cannot keep me from making mistakes. Only when I fail do I get up again." Vincent Van Gogh

This week's Power Thought Card:
"I am willing to forgive. Forgiveness of myself and others releases me from the past. Forgiveness is the answer to almost every problem. Forgiveness is a gift to myself. I forgive, and I set myself free." Louise L. Hay

Forgiveness according to the Mayo Clinic
http://mayoclinic.com/health/forgiveness/MH00131
-Nearly everyone has been hurt by the actions or words of others.
-Wounds can leave you bitter, angry, and resentful.
-Forgiveness can be a challenge and is also a commitment to change from the inside out.
-By embracing forgiveness you can embrace peace, hope, gratitude and joy.
-Forgiveness can lead you down the path of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

On Forgiveness From DJ Noni:
Here are some words you can use for asking for forgiveness, feel free to add specific information that pertains to your situation to personalize it and make it authentic and sincere.

To my dear friend, I am so very sorry for hurting you by my actions and/or words. It breaks my heart that I have hurt you and I hope you have space in your heart to forgive me. Going forward I commit to you to not do it again to you, or to anyone else, and I thank you for giving me this time to apologize and ask for your forgiveness.

-Whether the person you are asking forgiveness of bestows it upon you or not, your efforts will go along way to give you relief.
-You can ask for or give forgiveness to someone even if they have passed on or are not available for you to speak directly with them.
